How it works

Mobile check deposit1

If you can take a picture, you can deposit a check with mobile check deposit. It’s easy and encrypted for security.


Here’s how it works (for Apple and Android devices only):

  1. Log into the Members app on your smartphone.
  2. Select Deposit a Check from the menu bar.
  3. Accept the disclosure.
  4. Select an account to deposit the funds to.
  5. Enter the amount of the check to be deposited.
  6. Sign the back of your check and write For mobile deposit only to Members Cooperative CU.”
  7. Place your check on a dark, flat surface and capture images of the front and back of your check (capture all corners). Select Use for each image.
  8. Review the information and select Make a Deposit.

1 Deposits are subject to review and may be rejected or funds availability may be delayed. Checks must be endorsed properly and may be rejected for lack of endorsement or an improper endorsement. Deposits are subject to daily and monthly volume and dollar limits, and those limits may fluctuate. Checks deposited with a mobile device are not subject to typical Reg CC funds availability schedules. Checks deposited with a mobile device should be kept for thirty days after deposit.

Use of online or other electronic services may require specific hardware and software and your agreement to certain terms and conditions. Access is subject to the availability of the internet, cellphone and network coverage and plans, and typical service interruptions stemming from your providers or the credit union’s providers.
