MCCU Donates IT Equipment to Help Bridge Technology Gap
(Grand Rapids, MN) June 6, 2018 Members Cooperative Credit Union (MCCU) gave new life to its gently used IT equipment by donating 50 flat panel computer monitors to the Grand Rapids branch of PCs for People.
Heathyr Dahline, Grand Rapids Branch Manager, is familiar with PCs for People’s mission “to help provide affordable computers to low-income families and students”, and she recognized the opportunity to donate. “We are genuinely grateful to be part of their cause in helping community members build a stronger future“, said Dahline. “Their mission of helping others ties in perfectly to the mission of Members Cooperative Credit Union, and we believe this is just the beginning of a great partnership”.
Members Cooperative Credit Union’s commitment to their organizational mission has been the top priority: To be the primary, positive financial influence in the lives of our members/owners. As a not-for-profit credit union, they are not in business to make money for a handful of shareholders, they’re in it to serve every one of their members. This commitment extends to the communities they serve through volunteering and financial support for many organizations.
