    Miijalisa C. Viele

    Miijalisa was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and has made Duluth her home for most of her life. Her name is pronounced “My-a-lisa”. She's also known as "Miija" or, more commonly, "Jacob’s mom". Miija has been a familiar face and experienced financial expert with MCCU since 1995.

    Miija is an avid volunteer and spends much of her time with youth baseball, hockey, and the Scouts. You may have seen her at a baseball field or at different hockey rinks supporting Duluth East Hockey. Outside of youth activities, Miija enjoys spending time with her husband and son relaxing at their cabin on Floodwood Lake or helping her son earn his merit badges.  You may also see her on the back of her husband’s Harley cruising around the Northland. 

    "Working at MCCU for just over 25 years, I have formed a strong bond with my members by getting to know them", says Miija. "I enjoy the opportunity to build relationships and find a solution that works for them."

    Robyn Rohweder

    A lifelong resident of the Duluth area, Robyn graduated from Proctor High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at University of Minnesota Duluth. She has eight years of experience in mortgage origination, and she loves using her skills and expertise to help people achieve their goals.

    “Whether it is a home purchase of their dreams or a refinance to consolidate debt, I want to make the home loan process as easy as possible for everyone,” says Robyn. “And maybe even throw a little fun in there too!” 

    When she’s not working, you might find Robyn singing with her band, fishing with her dad, or enjoying the great outdoors with her four grown children and four granddaughters. She’s also an avid collector of Lake Superior agates.

    Brad Neuharth

    Brad Neuharth joined MCCU at the Spirit Valley- Duluth branch, and as a swiftly rising talent, this friendly face moved into the Mortgage department after his first year.

    “I really enjoy working with the Mortgage team at MCCU,” said Neuharth, “I look forward to building relationships and helping members accomplish their goals, for years to come.”

    Brad graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. A resident of West Duluth, in his spare time, Brad enjoys fishing, traveling and exploring the outdoors and the North Shore.

    Cloquet

    Sharalee Maslowski

    Sharalee is a graduate of Cloquet High School and UW- Superior and has worked in the financial services industry for over seven years. She is a familiar face in the Cloquet office as well as in the community. As an active member in many community and realtor events, Sharalee has many great connections and resources. She spends most of her free time cheering on her three children at ball fields, basketball and volleyball courts. Outside of community and sporting events, Sharalee and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors. She is an avid runner, so please watch out for her on the roads!

    Lori Moe

    Lori enjoys her role as a mortgage loan originator at MCCU.  She has been in the mortgage industry for 27 years and takes pride in helping her borrowers achieve financial success and find the best mortgage program for their needs.

    Lori has been a Cloquet resident for 16 years, with Wrenshall being her prior hometown of 12 years.  Overall, she has not veered far from her birthplace in West Duluth.

    Enjoying time with her three grandchildren and five children is her greatest source of happiness.  Lori also enjoys many summer and winter sports, including fishing and hunting, that get her out into the beauty that only nature can provide.  She finds peace while canoeing in the BWCA, listening to the loons and many other of the wonderful sounds of summer.

    Travis Betley

    Travis is a proud graduate of Aitkin High School and Central Lakes College and has over four years of lending experience. As a life-long resident of Aitkin, Betley is a recognizable face at many community events. He is actively involved in the Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce and realtor associations. 

    Travis enjoys many water activities, including fishing, jet skiing and fighting fires. He has been a member of the Aitkin Volunteer Fire Department for over two years and spends much of his free (and sleeping time) assisting his department. Travis is also expertly skilled at throwing tennis balls to his Australian Shephard, Oscar.

    Tony Pease

    Tony graduated from Carlton High School and has lived in the Cloquet area for most of his life. He brings nearly a decade of experience in financial services to his role and has been with MCCU since 2018. 

    “I know how exciting and stressful the homebuying process can be,” says Tony. “I am most excited not only to help make the process a little less stressful, but also to be a part of helping people achieve their dreams of homeownership.”

    Tony is active in the local community, coaching his son’s baseball team in the summer and participating in several local causes and organizations. When he’s not working or volunteering (or competing in his curling league) you’re likely to find Tony supporting Minnesota sports teams, fishing, or exploring the state’s many camping areas with his family.

    Timothy Bymark

    Tim Bymark has over two decades of mortgage lending and real estate sales experience. His extensive knowledge makes him a great resource in assisting members with the mortgage process. While a newer member to our Mortgage team at MCCU, his is a recognizable face in the Grand Rapids community.

    Some of Tim’s passions include hockey, lacrosse and many outdoor activities. You may have seen Tim on the hockey rink or the lacrosse field coaching youth teams. He is also a founding member of the Grand Rapids Area Hockey Association Walleye Shootout fishing tournament. He serves on the committee for the Itasca chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society. His diverse activities usually revolve around his family, unless he’s heading out bird hunting with his Honey (dog).

    "MCCU is a great fit for the Grand Rapids community. The organization is large enough to offer an extensive portfolio of mortgage products like the larger, corporate banks, but small enough that we know our members’ names when they walk through our doors,” says Bymark. “I really love my job and the opportunity to make so many dreams come true for my neighbors.”

    Tammy Hoveland is a long-time credit union employee. She joined the MCCU Mortgage team in 2012. With her lending experience and member service skills, she is a valuable resource for our members.  Tammy serves our North Branch and Isanti members with all real estate needs including home purchases, refinancing, home improvement loans, and home equity loans.

    Benjamin Berghuis

    Born and raised in the Brainerd/Baxter community, Benjamin Berghuis was pleased to join the MCCU Mortgage team at the start of 2018. He is a graduate of Brainerd High School and the College of St. Scholastica. He has over four years of experience in the financial services industry.

    Ben is an avid outdoorsmen who dedicates a lot of time to Ducks Unlimited and the United Foundation for Disabled Archers (UFFDA). With UFFDA, Ben assists individuals with disabilities, helping them set up and enjoy a hunting experience. Even in Ben’s volunteering, he’s as “Minnesotan” as they come. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, riding ATVs and of course, indulging in a little tater tot hotdish (don’t call it a "casserole"!)
