Stromberg Promoted to MCCU Vice President, Anderson hired as Regional Branch Manager
Kathy Stromberg was promoted to Vice President- Branch Operations and Tim Anderson was hired as Regional Branch Manager, Aitkin and McGregor, for Members Cooperative Credit Union.
In her new position, Stromberg will oversee all of the operations at MCCU’s eleven locations. Stromberg has been involved with many changes in the banking industry since beginning her career with MCCU over 33 years ago.
“The Aitkin area is a great community to be a part of personally and professionally, says Stromberg, “One of the most rewarding parts of my job has been finding solutions for our members’ financial needs and the relationships I’ve established. I will continue to have an office in Aitkin and I hope the members continue to stop by, however they are in good hands with the new manager, Tim Anderson.”
Tim Anderson was hired as the Regional Branch Manager for Aitkin and McGregor, replacing Stromberg. With many years of management, financial, and training experience, Anderson is well-suited for his new position.
Tim will be responsible for ensuring that members’ experiences are positive, consistent, and exceed expectations, in both the Aitkin and McGregor locations. Anderson will also help ensure that the MCCU branches meet the organization’s mission: To be the primary, positive financial influence in the lives of our members/owners.
“Being an alumni of Aitkin High School, raising my family here and being a member of MCCU for over 30 years, I’m excited to serve the Aitkin and McGregor area, says Anderson. “I’m looking forward to connecting with members and working with the great teams already in place at both locations.”
MCCU opened their first Aitkin office in 1980. Growth necessitated a move to a different building in 1992, and continued growth and support from members has brought them to their recently-opened facility at 108 Minnesota Ave. North. They are looking forward to the opportunities that will allow them to continue to grow and develop to meet the needs of their membership and communities.
