MCCU Welcomes Shawn Adams as Branch Manager for Moose Lake

(Duluth, MN)  July 30, 2019   Shawn Adams has joined Members Cooperative Credit Union (MCCU) as the new branch manager for Moose Lake. In his new role, Adams will oversee the daily branch operations of the Moose Lake office.

Adams joins MCCU with 15 years of managerial experience in the financial services industry.  

“I am excited to be a part of the MCCU team and honored to work with the people in Moose Lake and in the surrounding areas”, said Adams.

Adams once studied to be an electrician with the US Navy and is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran.  His most notable work achievement, however, is helping his clients/members reach their financial goals.  “Whether it’s budgeting, saving money, building/repairing credit, or buying a new home, watching those I coach succeed is my most treasured work accomplishment”, said Adams.

In Adams’ spare time, he enjoys working on his hobby farm, hunting, fishing, wheeler rides, bonfires, and throwing bean bags.  He recently joined the Moose Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and has taken over the treasurer role for the Moose Lake Food Shelf.
