Everyone’s Table receives funds from MCCU for expanded services

(Sandstone, MN)  September 9, 2020  Members Cooperative Credit Union (MCCU) recently presented a check to Everyone’s Table for $1,000 to help expand their free community meal program in Sandstone, MN.

Everyone’s Table currently provides free healthy meals on the first and third Tuesday of every month, from 4:30-6:00PM at the Grace Lutheran Church. They are slated to serve their next curbside meal on September 15th. The community is welcome to join.

With additional funding, Everyone’s Table hopes to increase service from two community meals a month to four. They are also working to secure a permanent spot at the newly renovated John Wright Building with assistance from the City of Sandstone. A formal agreement is being worked out to provide Everyone’s Table with space and a commercial kitchen, at no charge, where more people can gather and additional meals can be served.
