Community Involvement - Jessica Lindahl
Living Out Our Vision
As an organization we strive to be a healthy part of our communities. We nurture a culture of service among our employees and would like to recognize their involvement and the ways in which they contribute.
We are excited to share how Mortgage Loan Originator, Jessica Lindahl volunteers her time and energy at work and in her community. Jessica Lindahl volunteers extensively with the Chambers of Commerce in Hinckley, Sandstone, and Moose Lake; performs mock job interviews with freshmen students at East Central Schools; serves on the scholarship committee for Hinckley-Finlayson Schools; volunteers and organizes food drives for various food shelves; and gives her time at the resource fair for the FCI Sandstone Inmate Release Program.
What motivates Jessica to volunteer?
“I like to make a difference in our communities, especially with children. My most fulfilling experiences are working with youth, as you see the impact you make on their lives. It’s also very rewarding to get unsolicited hugs of appreciation. I am proud to have worked for two great credit unions that fully support the credit union mission of ‘people helping people’.”
What is her favorite memory volunteering?
“Helping at Christmas with Santa is very humbling when you have children asking for socks and sheets for their beds. It reminds you of the true reason for the season.”
Thank you for improving the world around us, Jessica!
THE STRENGTH OF ME.
