Classic Checking - for members age 50 or better - All the features of our Preferred Account, plus... Overdraft Privilege Service - With this useful new service, we will consider paying the overdraft and charging your checking account with a service fee. Save on NSF costs from the merchant and MCCU. Rather than automatically returning unpaid any non-sufficient funds items that you may have, we will consider, without obligation, payment of your reasonable overdrafts. As an MCCU Personal Checking account holder, this discretionary overdraft service requires no action on your part. You do not have to sign any additional documents and it costs you nothing unless you use the service by initiating checks or payments from your MCCU Bill Payer service for more than the amount of collected (available) funds you have on deposit in your account.
We can't promise to pay every overdraft, and are not obligated to pay any item presented for payment if your account does not contain sufficient collected funds even if we may have previously paid such items. Our new Overdraft Privilege service can be a big help in helping you avoid NSF charges from retailers, and provide additional convenience and flexibility in managing your funds.
