IRA notice

The IRS requires that we share the following information with you on a quarterly basis: You may change your IRA withholding election at any time. You may do so at the credit union or we can mail you a Payment Election form. If you have any questions or would like a form mailed to you, please call 218-879-3304 or 800-296-8871 and speak with any Member Service Representative. Payments from your IRA are subject to federal income tax withholding, unless you elect no withholding. Withholding from IRA payments, when combined with other withholding, MAY relieve you from payment of estimated income taxes. However, your withholding election does not affect the amount of income tax you pay. You may incur penalties under the estimated tax rules if your withholding and estimated tax payments are insufficient.implify your tax returns this year. You can complete your tax return online

 

Emergency Fund Account $250 winner

Jaime Hayden of Duluth was chosen as MCCU’s Emergency Fund Account winner last month. Hayden qualified for the $250 monthly drawing by setting up an automatic transfer into her Emergency Fund Account each month. Congratulations, Jaime!
