A veteran of the financial services industry, with a rich history in commercial lending and business services, Wendy Jurek manages the Business Lending department and oversees a business lending portfolio. 

Wendy enjoys creating and sustaining relationships with business banking members, and providing commercial loans and deposit solutions tailored to meet each member's unique needs. 

In her spare time, Wendy enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with her friends and family.

A graduate of Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, James Lundberg has over a decade of experience in the financial industry. He takes great satisfaction in helping our business members identify solutions to address their financial needs. 

The spirit of entrepreneurship is what drives our economy,” says Lundberg.“In business services, I enjoy finding and providing the tools needed to make members’ dreams a success.”

James is based out of MCCU's Cloquet office, but serves business members across our service area. Originally from Esko, he enjoys reading, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Always ready to lend a hand, Neil helps our business members identify the best solutions to meet their needs.

"I've always appreciated the opportunity to serve my community in a positive way," says Sample, "I love that I'm able to do that in my role at MCCU, by assisting in the success of the local businesses that are so critical to the economic health of our communities."

Neil graduated from Bemidji State University, with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He currently enjoys life in the Fredenberg Township area. In his spare time, he has fun hunting, fishing with his father, thrift shopping with his wife, and reading about the stock market.

Well-known and highly regarded in our Southern branch communities, Brad provides expert knowledge and service to the credit union’s business members in the North Branch, Isanti, Sandstone, Hinckley and Moose Lake regions.

“I enjoy being a part of the Business Services side of MCCU,” said Larson, “I have worked in consumer, mortgage and business lending over the past twenty-nine years. I'm well-acquainted in the communities we serve and I hope to help with the business needs of our southern offices and the members they serve.”

Brad is an active community member, serving as a Rotarian and as a board member of Lakes and Pines and the Anoka Ramsey Foundation. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, oil painting, golfing, landscaping, and spending time with friends and family.

A friendly face in our Cloquet branch, Member Services Assistant Christina Simmer was born and raised in the community she now enjoys serving.

Simmer is a proud alum of Cloquet High School, FDLTCC and UMD and is pleased to bring her skills to the Business Services Department of MCCU.

"I really enjoy supporting the work of MCCU's Business Services department," says Simmer, "I love being part of a team that exceeds the expectations of our business members, on a daily basis."

In her spare time, Christina enjoys golfing, camping and spending time outdoors in the summer.

After nearly two decades in the financial services industry, Rachelle Glunz knows her stuff. As the Business Services Assistant serving our Aitkin and McGregor offices, she gets to put that stuff to work at a place she loves.

"MCCU has a very welcoming atmosphere-- the feeling of a small town business with all the perks of a large institution," says Glunz, "I really enjoy the people I work with, from our members to my co-workers. I always leave work with a smile."

Rachelle graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Finance and the U of M, Crookston, with a degree in Accounting. In her spare time, Rachelle, who calls McGregor home, enjoys spending time with her family, watching her two sons play sports and hang out with friends. 
She also enjoys motorcycle adventures and an occasional craft project endeavor.

Amber Stoddard is no stranger to the dynamics of small business, growing up in the family restaurant industry for 33 years. 

As the Business Services Assistant at our Spirit Valley location, she finds great reward in serving our business members.

"I enjoy showing our members the fun and convenient things we have to offer to make their businesses run smoothly, " says Stoddard.

Amber hails from Barnum, but has called Duluth home for the last twelve years. She attended Hennepin Technical College, where she studied culinary arts. Stoddard continues to be an avid baker. Along with her husband and dog, Luci, she enjoys spending free time camping, four-wheeling, spending time with family and friends and hosting game nights.

Business Services Assistant JoAnn Larson is a gem. A familiar face in our Moose Lake office,  JoAnn  is from the Sturgeon Lake area where she has lived her entire life.

Larson has over 18 years of experience with our credit union. “I enjoy being part of the business team and I work hard to provide excellent service to meet our members needs,” says JoAnn.

In her spare time, she enjoys flower gardening, cleaning, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
