About Us Members Cooperative Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative open to all people who live, work, attend church services or school in Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching Lake and St. Louis Counties in Northeastern Minnesota. Businesses and other legal entities located in this region are also eligible for membership. The families of members are also eligible to join our credit union. Family is defined as spouse, son/daughter, adopted children, brother/sister, and parents. People sharing a home with an MCCU member are also eligible to join.
Members of our cooperative partners are also eligible for membership. These include: C.A.P.-TRICO Oil and Propane Cooperative, Lake Country Power, Mille Lacs Electrical Cooperative, and Whole Foods Co-op in Duluth.
